National Federation of Handlooms and Handicrafts (NFHH) is a first of its kind coming together of handloom weavers and handicrafts manufacturers. They have been working with handloom weavers in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana since 1988 as ‘Rashtra Chenetha Jana Samakhya.’ In 2017 they extended nationwide efforts and included handicrafts. NFHH has constituent groups in 12 states of India. The aim of the federation is to bring together diverse practitioners to discuss the various dimensions of the craft sector.
The Agroecology Fund (AEF) is a multi-donor fund supporting agroecological practices and policies. The Fund aims to support viable food systems, promote the economic well-being and human rights of small farmers and their communities, and mitigate climate change through low input agriculture featuring sustainable soil and water use. It links organizations and movements that advance agroecological solutions locally, regionally and globally.
The National Coalition for Natural Farming is a response to the multiple crises the country is going through – farmers’ distress, climate change emergency, malnutrition, consumer health, land degradation and loss of biodiversity. The Covid19 pandemic has powerfully brought home the need to carefully nurture our relationship with Nature.
