The All India Artisans and Craftworkers Welfare Association (AIACA) is headquarterd in New Delhi, India. It was established in 2004, as a membership based non-profit organisation for the handloom and handicrafts sector in India.
It works towards the growth and sustainability of the crafts sector, with a focus on providing a better standard of living for the artisans and craft workers. Its main operation is to continuously work on mainstreaming the craft practices through policy, advocacy and facilitation methods.
This year, after taking stock of artisans’ needs, AIACA, in partnership with Goonj, is relaunching #RaiseWithAiaca, a fundraising effort, as #ShilpRahaat focus to recover lost livelihoods and providing food and medical aid. Your donations will help in

- Support wages and raw materials for artisans and handmade businesses as they seek to continue their work with dignity.
- Provide marketing assistance to ensure sales of existing stock through digital platforms, mitigate logistics issues, etc.
